Why rent a 6-Passenger golf cart in Port Aransas
Port A weeks fill a house. Parents, kids, another couple, maybe a teen who is 21 and can drive. The 6-passenger is the cart that keeps that crew on one Yamaha instead of a convoy. Extra row. Same street-legal rules. Same permit on the cart.
The day rate is $100. One 6 is cheaper than two 4s ($160) if everyone will actually ride together. It is also cheaper than an 8 ($170) if you do not need eight seats. Do not rent an 8 for the photo if six is the real headcount.
This is the largest cart at 528 W Ave G. If you want to walk to the in-town shop and still take a crew, the 6 is the size. The 8 is Cut-Off only.
A typical 6-Passenger day: six people, one Yamaha, beach chairs stacked, no second cart to keep track of in a public lot. Friend weeks use this size so nobody is left at the condo waiting on a text. If you only need four seats most hours, pay $80 for the 4-Seat and stop reading.

Two 6s are $200 a day. That is a two-cart house, not a discount bundle. We do not invent a crew package. If half the house goes fishing and half goes to the beach, two 4s at $160 can be the smarter split.

Book the 6 for five or six people who ride together most days. Multi-family condos, reunion weeks, and friend groups who want one cart at dinner on Alister.
Size down to the 4 if four is the real number and you are paying $100 out of habit. Size up to the 8 if you need one cart for seven or eight — and understand that 8 is Cut-Off only, $170 a day.
On the Beach RV does not stock a 6. Park guests who need six seats book Cut-Off or Ave G, or use free delivery to a stay we serve.
Free delivery and beach permit
A 6 is a longer cart. We still drop it at the stay inside Port Aransas. Hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If the driveway is tight, say so when you book — we will tell you if a 6 will fit or if you should pick up at Cut-Off or Ave G.
No delivery across Hwy 361 or past mile marker 40. If the stay is on the no-go list, a 6 does not change that. Call before you pay.

Beach and Hwy 361 rules

On the beach, the permit is already on the cart. Stay off dunes and the water. Mile marker 40 is the limit. A loaded 6 still yields to faster traffic and stays out of parks.
