1First light
The Gulf comes up first. Walk the north beach by Horace Caldwell Pier at I.B. Magee Beach Park — 230 North on the Beach. The south jetty by the Marine Science Institute is the other early walk.
Carts stay off the rocks. Stand there. Watch the ships. Then roll to breakfast.
2Breakfast
Fuel up at Coach’s. Official name: Coach’s Island Pub and Grub, 505 N Alister St. Locals still say Coach’s Island Grill. Same shop. Same morning energy.

This is why you booked. The Port Aransas beach parking permit is already on the cart. Use the marked accesses. Stay off the dunes and the vegetation. Do not go past mile marker 40. Do not drive near the water.

5Walk-ins
Not one generic bird card. Three real walk-ins. Park nearby. Walk. Carts stay off trails, parks, and playgrounds.
6Town + channel
Port Aransas Community Park — the Port A Park — 700 Clark Parkway. Town park. Fields. Walking trail. The place kids mean when they say “the park.”
Roberts Point Park, 301 JC Barr Blvd. 50 acres on the ship channel. Picnic spots. The working water. Stay for the next stop.
Walk the parks. Do not drive through playgrounds or public park grounds.
7Ship channel
The Aransas Pass / Corpus Christi Ship Channel runs right past Roberts Point. Shore viewing. People stand at the park and watch the channel work — boats, ferries, dolphins when they show.
We do not sell a boat tour. We tell you where to stand. Check the city ferry cams before you sit in a line.
8Lunch
Lunch is Lelo’s Island Bar, 212 Beach St. Burgers. Tiki drinks. Patio energy. The mid-day reset before you roam.

9Afternoon roam
Alister. Cotter. The harbor. Eat what looks good — we do not fake a second restaurant list. Horace Caldwell Pier if you skipped it at dawn: 1,240 feet at I.B. Magee Beach Park, 230 North on the Beach. Nueces County. (361) 749-5333.
One cart. No parking hunt. If you want a patio before Ross Ave, roll east on Avenue G. Leave time for the light.
10Afternoon hang
After Alister, hang at Bron’s Backyard — the backyard patio bar at 314 E Avenue G. Laid-back. Cold drinks. Yard games. Live music on weekends. Shaved ice and drinks at the Ave G spot.

11Magic hour
Sunset lives at the bird reserve down Ross Ave — Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center. Boardwalk. Marsh light. Spoonbills if you get lucky.
Not a Hwy 361 cruise. Leave time to get home on 35 mph streets. Then the big dinner.
