Why rent a 2-Passenger golf cart in Port Aransas
Port Aransas is a golf-cart town. A lot of stays are two adults who want the beach, the harbor, and a grocery run without dragging a third-row cart they will never fill. The 2-passenger is built for that. It is a Yamaha, street-legal on 35 mph streets, and it carries gear in the bed instead of a back bench.
This is the entry day rate on our board — $70. You still get free delivery, free pickup, and the beach permit. You do not get a cheaper cart by skipping those lines. Other island shops tease a low number, then add delivery or a sticker. Compare the total.

The posted 2-passenger day rate is $70. One week is $490. Those are the same numbers on Pricing — we do not invent a 2-seater special on this page. Sales tax is added at booking when the calendar requires it.
Two 2-passenger carts cost $140 a day. One 4-passenger is $80. If you are two couples who refuse to share a bench, do the math before you book two 2s. If you are one couple with bags, one 2 is the honest cart.

Who the 2-Passenger is for

Book the 2 if you are two people, or one person plus a pile of rods, groceries, or beach chairs. The bed is the point. Couples who walk the beach at Marker 13–15 and want a cart waiting at the condo book this size all summer.
Size up to a 4 if a kid, a parent, or a third adult will ride every day. Size up to a 6 if the condo is a crew. Do not squeeze a third adult on the 2. That is how rentals get ugly.
On the Beach RV guests can book a 2 at 907 Access Road 1-A — park guests only, online only. Cut-Off and Ave G both keep 2-passenger Yamahas for walk-up when a cart is on the lot.
Free delivery and beach permit
Most 2-passenger rentals never see a counter. We drop the cart at the stay and pick it up when you leave. Delivery and pickup follow 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM shop hours. Same-day is often open if a 2 is staged.

Beach and Hwy 361 rules
The 2 is street-legal on qualifying Port Aransas streets. It is not legal to cruise Hwy 361. Cross only at the designated perpendicular crossings. City and police materials call out the stretch south of Ave G. Start with the official crossings PDF, then the rest of the city-link hub on the rental guide.
Stay off sidewalks, dunes, parks, playgrounds, and the water. Do not go past mile marker 40 on the beach. The permit on the cart is for legal beach access — not a blank check.

Which Peyton’s shop to pick
Peyton’s at 315 Cut-Off Rd (361-800-2183) keeps 2-passenger Yamahas and is open daily 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Walk-up when a cart is on the lot. This is also the 8-passenger shop if your group grows.
Peyton’s 2 at 528 W Ave G (361-800-5303) keeps 2, 4, and 6. Same daily hours. In-town. Use the street address only.
On the Beach RV at 907 Access Road 1-A is 2 and 4 only, park guests, book online. No shop phone. No counter hours. Do not assign 8–6 hours to that lot.
